Doors of the World

What is it about doors that fascinates us? Is it the unknown that lies behind them? Or is it the fact that they come in so many different shapes, colors and styles? Whatever it is, I really love photographing them! Traveling around, I've always found really cool doors and, on our latest trip to Central Europe, I told myself I wanted to keep my eyes open for cool, colorful doors with lots of personality. Here are some I saw and photographed!

Most of these doors are available on my Etsy store. If there's one you want and you don't see it there, feel free to contact me!

Bratislava, Slovakia

Bratislava, what a beautiful place! I had no idea, yet I was very excited about visiting the Slovak capital. I was not disappointed. I can't really pinpoint what it was about it, but I just fell in love. It was so colorful, so peaceful yet so lively. It was so charming and a great place to explore. I hope to return there in the future!

Bicycle Photography

What is it about bicycles that makes them so picturesque? I honestly don't know, but I do know that, if found in the right place, against the right backdrop, bicycles can be absolutely great subjects. Perhaps their beauty lies on their elegance and the wide variety of styles that exist? Again, I don't know, but I surely know I love photographing them!

Enjoy these photos of bicycles I took while traveling in Central Europe. For more fun photos, visit my website or go to my Etsy store.

Fun for the Kid in Europe

Wow! We just got back from our first backpacking trip with our son, Hugo, and it was fantastic! We had a ton of good family fun AND I got a ton of good opportunities for photographing the gorgeous places we saw.

Anyway, here are a couple of photos of attractions we saw that only called my attention because we were traveling with a one and a half year old. I love that traveling with a baby gives you a different perspective and a fresher way of looking at the world!

More photos to come soon!
