Tulips

Even though you hardly ever see tulips while walking around San Francisco, they have remained a distinctive sign of spring for me after living in MN for several years. I love tulips and I was pleased to find them in full bloom on a trip to Washington DC. Here are some photos I took of these colorful beauties!

Sunflowers

My mother in law bought me flowers to congratulate me for having become a mom. In the bouquet, there was a couple of sunflowers. they were not the most picturesque sunflower to photograph in the traditional way, that's why I decided to photograph their "profiles."

The Yellow Trams of Lisbon

Lisbon is one of the most fun and beautiful cities I've visited.  While there, I fell in love with its trams, especially the bright yellow ones. These are some photos I took while traveling there. I used color selection to only pick up the yellow of the trams, then I added some blur to certain areas to give it a cool effect. I hope you like them! Beautiful Shorelines

I'm back! After over a month absence, I'm back and ready to work on this blog again. My first son was born at the end of last year, a bit ahead of schedule, so everything in my life had to be put on hold until things settled a bit after his arrival.

On this post, I share photos of shorelines from Mendocino County's Irish Beach. I love the tranquility of these photos. I don't know, there is something about the water coming in and going out, steadily, endlessly, that ready soothes one's soul.
