The other day I was walking with a friend in Alta Plaza park in San Francisco and, for the first time, I noticed the roofs on some of the houses facing the park. I didn't have my camera with me then, so I had to come back the next day. Lucky for me, when I went back, the day was misty and very grey, covering the expansive views with a layer of fog, making my photos even more interesting, I thought.
I don't know what it was about these roofs. I just know that they really captured my attention to the point that I walked the over 2 miles again just to capture them. Something about them reminded me of the roofs of Paris with the chimneys that make Parisian buildings so recognizable. I might be totally wrong but, at the end, that doesn't really matter!

California Cable Cars and San Francisco Hills
From what I have seen, the cable cars of California Street in San Francisco are not nearly as photographed as those leaving from Powell Street, which is surprising because the view looking up California street is a lot more dramatic and picturesque than that of Powell St. Here are some photos I captured over the weekend. Notice the tiny cable cars in the distance, up on the hill!

Bicycles of the World
Bicycles are always a fun thing to photograph while traveling. They pretty much exist everywhere in the world and, even though they are all pretty similar in shape, the surroundings of each city, each country, give each bike a different feel, a different story.

Fun by the Bay in San Francisco
In the last couple of weeks, San Francisco has been getting a couple of summer days, making people switch their sweaters for dresses and shorts. The best way, in my opinion, to enjoy the heat in the city, is to head to the water. Here are some photos of some water fun during the hot days!

Lima, Peru
I don't think Lima is a picturesque city in the traditional sense. But, if you look around carefully, you realize that there are plenty of moments and scenes to capture. You just have to pay attention and really keep an eye out.
Here are some photos from my last visit to the City of Kings. Hope you like them as much as I do! Fore more fun photos, visit my Etsy store, or go to my website.

The Colors of Barranco (Lima, Peru)
Another place I love to visit when I'm in Lima is Barranco. Barranco is an artistic, romantic and bohemian place where many artists, musicians and photographers live (It is also a very lively place to party the night away!!). The streets are colorful and charming and the ocean views are abundant. On this post, I am highlighting the colorfulness of the district and the old-charm of it's facades.
