Tulips

Even though you hardly ever see tulips while walking around San Francisco, they have remained a distinctive sign of spring for me after living in MN for several years. I love tulips and I was pleased to find them in full bloom on a trip to Washington DC. Here are some photos I took of these colorful beauties!

Sunflowers

My mother in law bought me flowers to congratulate me for having become a mom. In the bouquet, there was a couple of sunflowers. they were not the most picturesque sunflower to photograph in the traditional way, that's why I decided to photograph their "profiles."

Flowers at San Francisco's Botanical Gardens

It's that time of the year again in San Francisco. Flowers are blooming everywhere and, at the Botanical Gardens, the flower show can be quite amazing. Here are some shots from a quick visit to the gardens.

The Yellow Trams of Lisbon

Lisbon is one of the most fun and beautiful cities I've visited.  While there, I fell in love with its trams, especially the bright yellow ones. These are some photos I took while traveling there. I used color selection to only pick up the yellow of the trams, then I added some blur to certain areas to give it a cool effect. I hope you like them!
