Sunflowers

My mother in law bought me flowers to congratulate me for having become a mom. In the bouquet, there was a couple of sunflowers. they were not the most picturesque sunflower to photograph in the traditional way, that's why I decided to photograph their "profiles."

The Yellow Trams of Lisbon

Lisbon is one of the most fun and beautiful cities I've visited.  While there, I fell in love with its trams, especially the bright yellow ones. These are some photos I took while traveling there. I used color selection to only pick up the yellow of the trams, then I added some blur to certain areas to give it a cool effect. I hope you like them! Stars and Hearts in Paris

My Valentine's Day Flowers

Beautiful Shorelines

I'm back! After over a month absence, I'm back and ready to work on this blog again. My first son was born at the end of last year, a bit ahead of schedule, so everything in my life had to be put on hold until things settled a bit after his arrival.

On this post, I share photos of shorelines from Mendocino County's Irish Beach. I love the tranquility of these photos. I don't know, there is something about the water coming in and going out, steadily, endlessly, that ready soothes one's soul.

Mendocino Golden Moments

Over the holidays, my husband, his parents and I went to Irish Beach up in Mendocino County. During the 6 days we spent there, we were fortunate to enjoy lovely warm days. We were also fortunate (at least I think so!) to enjoy some evenings when the fog slowly rolled in from the ocean, covering everything around us, giving me wonderful opportunities to photograph it, especially when the sun was setting! During other evenings the sky was clear and we enjoyed the sun turning everything gold. Here are some photos of this golden moments!

My Etsy store is currently set to vacation mode. Also while in Mendocino, my water broke and, a day and a half later, my son arrived.  I will do my best to continue to post photos but I can just tell that life will be a bit busier for me in the next few weeks!
